City Market has been the hub of Savannah for centuries and has become an iconic destination for art, music and entertainment in downtown Savannah. The heart of Savannah can be found in City Market, where local art, shops, music, food and history connect people with the city and each other. With more than 40 merchants, Savannah City Market is a popular location for local artists and businesses to showcase their talents and provide unique experiences. 

To celebrate City Market artists and businesses, Savannah City Market created the “Art & Soul Music Festival.” The 2024 Art & Soul Music Festival includes artist demonstrations, live music, shopping discounts and restaurant specials. Guests can also help create an interactive public art project for display in the City Market Art Center. The festival focuses on art and includes music from local bands, creating an afternoon of entertainment in the courtyard and upstairs in the City Market Art Center. 

This festival is free and open to the public to showcase City Market artists and businesses, along with celebrating the return of live music to the courtyard.
