Art & Soul Music Festival Chalk Art Contest

Savannah City Market invites art students to participate in the 3rd Annual Art + Soul Music Festival on May 3, 2026, with a live Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest. Artists will create original chalk artwork inspired by the theme “Art + Music” in a designated 3×3 space. Limited to 20 spots.

Judging will start promptly at the start of the festival at 2 pm.

This is a juried event—participants must submit a sketch of their proposed design in advance for approval. Selected artists will compete for prizes:

1st Place: $300
2nd Place: $200
3rd Place: $100
