Michelle Perez is a Dominican-American painter and illustrator now based in Savannah, GA. Her work, created with oils and gouache, features whimsical and macabre compositions of animals and florals alongside representational abstractions of color. Perez’s childhood in the Dominican Republic, marked by a deep connection with nature and a fascination with man-made objects, influenced her art.
